We have been keeping a secret for weeks that we were dying to share with you, and finally the moment has arrived: dfyf is in Milan as part of a tribute to Balenciaga! You can't imagine how excited we are.

As we told you weeks ago, we have been selected to participate in the prestigious Exhibition BALENCIAGA | Shoes from Spain Tribute, an event that pays tribute to the legacy of Cristóbal Balenciaga and the artisanal mastery of Spanish footwear. This exhibition, held in Milan from February 21 to March 2, is the first monographic dedicated to Balenciaga in Italy and includes 25 original pieces by the master, coming from museums and private collections in Spain.

 

Today, at last, we have been able to unveil to the world our design, of which we are deeply proud. It is a black silk velvet heeled sandal adorned with curled organza roses and velvet leaves handmade by Mariana Barturen.

Being part of this exhibition is a recognition of the work we have been doing since our beginnings: merging tradition and modernity to create timeless, elegant, and comfortable pieces. Every dfyf design is made in Spain with the care and dedication that characterize us, and this opportunity is another example of our commitment to excellence.
