Care and Cleaning

Each piece in the Raíz y Flor collection has been handcrafted with time and attention to detail. To preserve its beauty, we recommend:

– Avoid contact with abrasive surfaces or chemical or cleaning products.

– Do not expose the pieces to water for prolonged periods or store them in humid environments.

– Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight or high temperatures.

– Do not apply creams, perfumes, soaps, or other cosmetic products while wearing the jewelry.

– Preferably store the pieces in their box or a fabric pouch, avoiding contact with other surfaces or items. Keep them away from materials like rubber, which can alter their finish.

– Clean the pieces only with a soft chamois or a cotton cloth slightly dampened with lukewarm water and, if necessary, neutral soap. For more delicate areas, an extra-soft toothbrush can be used, always without applying excessive pressure.

– Completely dry the piece after cleaning and use the included cloth to maintain its shine over time.

Important:

The gold plating on our models does not last forever. Gold-plated pieces are, by default, more fragile and prone to losing their color over time. The rate at which this color fades depends on multiple factors such as the use of chemical products on the skin, the level of body sweat, or even the individual skin pH level. For this reason, it is especially important to properly care for your gold-plated jewelry. If wear appears, at Ginger & Velvet we restore the pieces to their original state regardless of the time elapsed since purchase, charging only the cost of the new plating. The piece is returned as when you bought it.
